Will the dent come back?
Definitely not, once it’s removed it will stay that way, unless its dented again.
Can the dent be repaired if the paint is cracked?
No, as we do not undertake paintwork. If the paintwork is slightly chipped this may be touched up with a touch up pen.
Can any part of the car be repaired?
No, as sometimes access may not be possible such as double skin panels. Edges of doors and panels are usually not possible to repair.
The dent on my car has been there for quite some time. Can you still repair it?
Gippsland Dent Removals can still repair your car regardless of how long it has been damaged. Be aware we cannot repair paintwork that is cracked or chipped and may also be affected by rust over time.
Can all dents be repaired back to new?
This depends on how sharp and stretched the dent is. In many cases the dents can be repaired to as if they were never there. Where a dent is not possible to remove completely, we can advise what percentage of the dent can be removed.
Is PDR worth considering before I sell my car?
Yes! Definitely. To ensure you get the most money by having your car looking its best.
What size of dents can you repair?
Gippsland Dent Removals can repair most dents from the size of a coin to the size of a soccer ball. This is dependent on the dent’s depth and size. A large shallow dent is more repairable than a small extensive sharp dent.
What types of dents cannot be repaired using PDR?
Gippsland Dent Removals can repair most dents and creases where the paintwork has not cracked. Some exceptions are sharp deep dents where the metal has been stretched too far to recover. Dents that are located near the very edge or seam of a panel making it difficult to access the dent for repair.
